The Little House Classical Library is a private club where membership is needed to check out books from our system, and to attend classes or events which will be available for members. Books are mainly checked out by appointment due to our small space. There is a private Facebook group page where events will be posted as well as a quarterly newsletter that will be emailed to you.
To become a member, just fill in the form to be contacted and we can begin that process. We are a family library resource space for beginning readers through high school students.
Membership Benefits:
--Able to check out curriculum for the school year and books needed (often have multiple copies of needed classics).
--Able to reserve study room space for you and your students (rooms fit 3-4 and parent must remain with student). First come/first serve to reserve a space.
--Able to sign up for story times, playdates, classes and events.
--Able to request building usage for approved activities.
Membership Expectations:
--No students allowed to be left alone unattended by a parent or without an adult present.
--Kindness and Courtesy to everyone sharing the space. "Leave it better than you found it" by picking up after yourself, please.
--During school hours, please quietly share the space. There is a playground outside to burn energy. Doesn't apply to reserved events or activities.
--Yearly membership to be renewed with an optional suggested contribution of $25 per year for library expenses and to acquire new books.
